Personal Profiles
In this issue’s Personal Profile section of The Gauging Times™, we introduce you to our newest Field Service Engineer, Jeffrey Rector. Many of you have already met Jeff during semi-annual visits over the past six months, as he has been traveling with John and Chad performing most of the service.
Jeff obtained his electronics training and experience during the six years he spent in the United States Navy as a Fire Controlman. No, Jeff didn’t put out fires as many folks think a Fire Controlman would, instead he created them! Jeff’s system was the Mk-92 Weapon Control System, which meant that he got to push the button for the SM-1 missile. Jeff’s time in the Navy was spent on a couple of frigates located in San Diego, California and Yokosuka, Japan.
Jeff, who is originally from Martins Ferry, Ohio, left the Navy in July 2001 and moved to Columbus, Ohio. There, working for SimplexGrinnell, he maintained fire alarms and security equipment before joining the team at A.G.T.
Jeff currently resides in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, with his wife, Beth, and their three year old son, Alex. When not on the road, Jeff relaxes by working on home improvements, playing around on his computer, and chasing after the family dog, Lee Roy.
Advanced Gauging Christmas Party
Once again, A.G.T. had its annual Christmas Party. This year we all gathered at the Medallion Country Club located in Westerville, Ohio. The food was great as was the company, and for the first time ever, everyone was well behaved. In this issue of The Gauging Times™ we wish to acknowledge everyone who contributes to A.G.T.’s success.
