We started up our first AGT800 at Jemison Metals located in Trinity, Alabama. This gauge was sold to Butech Bliss and included as part of a 96” Stretch Leveler/Cut-To-Length line installed at their new facility. The AGT800 Laser Thickness Gauge will measure steel with a thickness range of .060” to .750” on this line.

Our First Laser Gauge Of 2014 Goes To Romulus
Lee Steel is staying up to date with modern technology, purchasing our state-of-the-art AGT800 Laser Thickness Gauge, which nicely compliments their two AGT400 Isotope Thickness Gauges at this facility. The newest gauge will measure .055”- .375” steel on their 74” Red Bud EPS pickle line.
Starting 2014 In Canada
Our Senior Field Engineer, John Fearing, traveled to Canada over The New Year’s Holiday at the customer’s request to start up a brand new AGT400 Isotope Thickness Gauge at Taylor Steel in Ontario. This system replaced an obsolete Harshaw brand thickness gauge from the eighties. It was installed on their 72” Herr-Voss slitter and it’s Taylor’s third AGT400 purchase.
