Two AGT400 Thickness Gauges Ship To U.S.S. Posco
Two AGT400 Isotope Thickness Gauges are in transit to Pittsburg, California. These measuring systems will be installed on a pickle line tandem cold mill (PLTCM) at USS-Posco Industries. Both thickness gauges will replace obsolete Weston 3000s. The AGT400s will measure steel with a thickness range of .030 to .200”.
Another AGT400 Ships To Esmark
Another AGT400 has left our Plain City headquarters and is heading for Chicago Heights where it will be installed in Esmark’s service center. This gauge will replace an outdated GR200 and will be installed on a 60” Stamco slitter to measure the thickness of various steel alloys with a thickness of <.135”. This is Esmark’s third of five scheduled upgrades.
U.S.S. Posco Buys Two AGT400 Isotope Thickness Gauges
USS-Posco Industries (Pittsburg, California) purchased two AGT400s. These gauges will replace obsolete Weston 3000 thickness measurement systems. The AGT400s will be installed on a pickle line tandem cold mill (PLTCM) to measure steel with a thickness range of .030 to .200”.
Esmark Installs Second AGT400
Another AGT400 has been installed at Esmark Steel Group in Chicago Heights. This gauge replaced an obsolete GR200 and will be used to measure the thickness of various steel alloys on a 60” Stamco slitter. Three more AGT400 thickness gauges will be installed at Esmark during the 2016 calendar year.
