A.G.T.’s Senior Field Engineer, John Fearing, commissioned a new AGT400 at Esmark Steel Group in Chicago Heights, Illinois. This gauge is an upgrade of a GR200 and will be used on Esmark’s 60” Stamco slitter with a thickness <.120”.
Hercules Upgrades Thickness Gauge
Hercules in Denver, Colorado has purchased an AGT400 to upgrade their obsolete 1995 Gamma Instruments model GR200. The AGT400 will be installed and used to measure the thickness of various steel alloys on their 60” Stamco slitter.
Almetals Upgrades To AGT400
Almetals, Wixom, Michigan, has purchased a thickness gauge upgrade for their obsolete DMC model. The AGT400 will be installed and used to measure the thickness on their 36” Ruesch slitting line for the processing of various brass, stainless, aluminum and carbon steel alloys.
Metals USA Upgrades
Metals USA in Madison, Illinois has purchased an AGT400 to upgrade their obsolete 1996 model GR200. The AGT400 will be installed and used to measure the thickness on various steel alloys on their 72” Alcos slitter. This will be the third Metals USA facility to switch over to Advanced Gauging for their thickness gauging requirements.
