Legacy / Obsolete Gauge Upgrade Program
A.G.T. is offering a new, limited-time program for upgrading older legacy / obsolete thickness gauges, many of which were manufactured by companies that have been out of business for a decade or longer. We have always worked hard to keep these outdated gauges operational by providing specialized service and maintaining inventory on spare parts. However, locating many of these key components is becoming increasingly difficult.
Gauge failures can result in production downtime, loss of productivity, the inability to generate coil reports, and unplanned maintenance costs, all of which can have a significant impact on the bottom line. Our unique program combines special discounts, credits and payment terms which provide customers with a practical and affordable solution to a problem that is only going to get worse if not addressed soon. Details are as follows:
• Place your order by December 18, 2015
• Receive an extra 10% discount off our already low upgrade prices
• $500.00 off startup and training
• Additional $500.00 credit for your obsolete gauge electronics
• Interest free 12-month equal payment terms
• Flexible ship dates that can extend through 2016
• Multi-Gauge discounts for customers who purchase multiple upgrades
The following gauge models are eligible for upgrades under this program: GR100, GR200, GR2000, DMC 410, DMC 420, DMC 450, IRM IR-1000, Loral 3500, Measurex MDX-350, Radiometrie RM206 and Weston 5310.
Please contact Steve Venters or Tiffany Rea via phone or email to take advantage of this limited time offer.

A.G.T. Offers Silicone Optical Grease
Did you know that A.G.T. can supply you with Silicone Optical Grease, a clear, colorless coupling compound that features excellent light transmission and low evaporation and bleed at 25° C. It is typically used when installing replacement Scintillation Crystals or Photomultiplier Tubes such as those found in certain brands/models of thickness gauge detector heads. Silicone optical grease removes the air gap between the PMT and the crystal resulting in better photon transmission into the PMT. Many of the orders we receive for this specialized product come from various universities and research organizations.
We currently offer customers two options for purchasing Silicone Optical Grease: Part number SOG-003 is a syringe containing 0.30 ml and part number SOG-600 is a jar containing 60 ml. Place your order directly from our website by clicking on the following link: https://www.advgauging.com//shop/product-category/loral-weston-dmc/ You can also order by calling us at (614) 873-6691 or via email at Sales@AdvGauging.com.
New TCP/IP HMI Communication Option
Advanced Gauging is pleased to announce a new TCP/IP HMI Communication option for our AGT400 and AGT800 thickness gauges. This new option enables both gauges to accept a single TCP/IP streaming socket connection on a user defined port for the purpose of requesting information from the gauge or commanding certain actions to the gauge. The gauge software will then respond to a specific set of text commands by either performing the requested command or providing the requested information in real time. Current commands allow for the control of the C-frame, measuring and reporting functions as well as the ability to provide thickness, deviation, coil length, coil diameter, C-frame position and digital input status information.
Any client capable of sending and receiving text commands over a TCP/IP socket connection should be able to interface with the gauge software. The software will provide information in a text stream which can then be parsed to collect information in whatever way the client wishes to manipulate the data. Please note that each gauge must be individually licensed to support this feature. The gauge will then be able to accept one connection.
