AGT800 ORDERED FOR VINYL PROCESSING LINE
A new AGT800 laser thickness gauge has been ordered for use on a vinyl sheeting extrusion line. This material is produced in various colors and thicknesses ranging from .025” up to .500”. The AGT800 is a perfect fit for this application and will provide our customer with precise real time measurement information, detailed coil reports and virtually unlimited data storage.
Esmark Installs Second AGT400
Another AGT400 has been installed at Esmark Steel Group in Chicago Heights. This gauge replaced an obsolete GR200 and will be used to measure the thickness of various steel alloys on a 60” Stamco slitter. Three more AGT400 thickness gauges will be installed at Esmark during the 2016 calendar year.
Hercules Installs AGT400
An AGT400 has been installed at Hercules Industries in Denver, Colorado. This gauge replaced an obsolete GR200 and will be used to measure the thickness of various steel alloys on a 60” Stamco slitter.
Second Successful Feroleto Installation
Feroleto Steel has commissioned their second AGT800 Laser Thickness Gauge. This gauge is located at their Weirton, West Virginia location and was installed on a 62” Loopco Slitter to measure various steel alloys with a thickness range of .008” to .250”. Feroleto has long-term plans to replace 10 to 12 obsolete x-ray thickness gauges with AGT800 systems.
