An AGT400 was shipped to Heidtman Steel Products in Butler, Indiana. This isotope gauge will upgrade an obsolete GR200. The AGT400 will be installed on a temper mill and will measure steel with a thickness up to .250”. This will be Heidtman’s eighth AGT400 thickness gauge & S.P.C. reporting system.
Mill Steel Is Operating Two More AGT400s
Two additional AGT400 thickness gauges have been installed at Mill Steel’s Grand Rapids plant. Both gauges are upgrades to obsolete Weston and ESC brand thickness gauges and are on slitting lines to measure the thickness of various steel alloys.
Samuel Adds Laser Gauge
Samuel, Son & Co. – Columbia, Tennessee is the home of a new AGT800 laser thickness gauge. This gauge is installed on an 84” Alcos slitter and will measure thickness of steel up to .160.” This is Samuel’s sixth A.G.T. thickness gauge.
