Advanced Gauging Technologies has completed the startup of a new AGT800 laser thickness gauge at Steel Technologies in Smyrna, Tennessee. The custom built C-frame is specifically designed for use on their 84″ Braner slitter. This laser thickness gauge is used to measure aluminum and various steel alloys with a thickness range of .009″ to .187″. Our AGT800 will allow Steel Technologies to continually meet customers strict thickness specifications by providing extremely accurate non-contact thickness measurement.
New AGT400 Upgrade Startup at Harvard Coil Processing!
Advanced Gauging Technologies has completed the startup of a new AGT400 Upgrade at Harvard Coil Processing in Cleveland, Ohio. This upgrade replaced an outdated GR200 thickness gauge and is installed on a 76″ Braner slitting line that measures various steel alloys up to .250″ thick. By replacing their outdated thickness gauge with a new AGT400 upgrade, Harvard will be able to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, as well as provide the most accurate and reliable non-contact thickness measurement available.
A.G.T. Ships Another AGT400 Upgrade!
Advanced Gauging Technologies has shipped a new AGT400 upgrade to Samuel Doral Steel in Toledo, Ohio to replace an outdated GR200 gauge. This gauge will be installed on an 80″ Paxson slitter and will measure various steel alloys up to .250″ thick. By replacing their GR100 gauge with an AGT400 upgrade, Samuel Doral will be able to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, as well as provide the most accurate and reliable thickness measurement available.
A.G.T. Ships New AGT400 to Jemison Metals!
Advanced Gauging Technologies has shipped a new AGT400 Isotope Thickness Gauge to Jemison Metals in Birmingham, Alabama. This system will be used on a 61″ Rowe CTL line to measure various steel alloys up to .250″ thick. This will be Jemison Metals’ eighth gauge purchased from A.G.T.
