Nissan Motor Manufacturing Corporation in Tennessee has ordered a new AGT400 thickness gauge to monitor tolerances of steel thickness. This gauge will be installed on a 1,900 mm. blanking line and measure steel with a thickness range of 0.5 to 1.4 mm. Shipment and startup are scheduled for the first quarter.
Heidtman AGT400 Startup
Heidtman Steel Products in Butler, Indiana has recently commissioned a new AGT400. This upgrade of a GR200 is installed on a 60” Pro-Eco slitter and will measure steel with a thickness range of .050” to .250”.
Universal Steel Company Installs Gauge
The Universal Steel Company of Cleveland, Ohio has successfully installed an AGT400 on their 72” Wean Slitter. This thickness gauge will replace an outdated Loral 3500 and measure steel up to .250”.
