Two new AGT400 thickness gauges have been commissioned at Greenpoint Metals in Franklin, OH. They are replacing older Global x-ray gauges and will be located on 72” Stamco and Pro-Eco slitting lines. Both will be used to measure various steel alloys with an overall thickness range of .015 to .250”. Greenpoint now has three AGT400 gauges, including a recent AGT400 upgrade of an obsolete BSK gauge in Camden, OH.

Two brand new AGT400 isotope thickness gauges are in transit to Greenpoint Metals, Inc. in Franklin, Ohio. Both gauges will be used on 72” Pro-Eco and Stamco slitters and measure various steel alloys with a thickness range of .014 to .250”.
Eighth AGT400 Installed At Heidtman Steel
Heidtman Steel Products in Butler, Indiana adds its eighth AGT400 to operations. This isotope gauge is installed on a temper mill and measures steel with a thickness up to .250”.
Midwest Tube Orders AGT400
Midwest Tube Mills, Inc. has purchased an AGT400 to be used on their 60” Braner slitter. This new thickness gauge will measure carbon steel up to .160”.
