Advanced Gauging Technologies has just received an order for a new AGT400 C-frame upgrade from National Galvanizing in Monroe, Michigan. Several years ago they purchased our AGT400 gauge but only opted for centerline measurement.

Their gauging requirements have changed and now it is critical that they get a thickness measurement across the entire width of the sheet. We provide the option to upgrade an existing centerline frame to an oscillating frame, however their gauge operates in a rough environment so they decided to replace the entire frame, cabling and all.

A.G.T. has just shipped a brand new AGT400 Upgrade to Steel Technologies in Eminence, Kentucky! They decided to upgrade their old DMC C-frame to our new AGT400 C-frame to eliminate the hassles of DMC’s outdated technology. Steel Tech has already ditched their DMC electronics cabinet for this gauge and replaced it with our electronics cabinet several years ago. Based on how well our cabinet has been performing they knew it was the right time to upgrade the rest of this gauge.

By installing a new C-frame, Steel Technologies will now have an entirely new system to ensure they are receiving the most accurate and repeatable non-contact thickness measurement available.
