Another AGT400 Ships To Esmark
Another AGT400 has left our Plain City headquarters and is heading for Chicago Heights where it will be installed in Esmark’s service center. This gauge will replace an outdated GR200 and will be installed on a 60” Stamco slitter to measure the thickness of various steel alloys with a thickness of <.135”. This is Esmark’s third of five scheduled upgrades.
U.S.S. Posco Buys Two AGT400 Isotope Thickness Gauges
USS-Posco Industries (Pittsburg, California) purchased two AGT400s. These gauges will replace obsolete Weston 3000 thickness measurement systems. The AGT400s will be installed on a pickle line tandem cold mill (PLTCM) to measure steel with a thickness range of .030 to .200”.
McWane Ductile Orders Two Laser Thickness Gauges For Cast Pole/Pipe
McWane Ductile out of Coshocton, Ohio has purchased two AGT800s. The laser gauge measurement application is for the manufacturing of various cast pipe and pole, 18’ 6” in length with a thickness range of .220 to .700” and diameters between 6 and 36”.
AGT400 Certification Awarded To Mike Collier
Mike Collier, our production and inventory specialist recently earned his AGT400 certification. This certification means that Mike has comprehensive knowledge of our AGT400 Thickness Gauge as well as the ability to service it. The AGT400 certification is part of our overall education program which helps our associates give customers the best service possible.
