Two new AGT400 thickness gauges have been commissioned at Greenpoint Metals in Franklin, OH. They are replacing older Global x-ray gauges and will be located on 72” Stamco and Pro-Eco slitting lines. Both will be used to measure various steel alloys with an overall thickness range of .015 to .250”. Greenpoint now has three AGT400 gauges, including a recent AGT400 upgrade of an obsolete BSK gauge in Camden, OH.
An AGT400 upgrade has been commissioned at Greenpoint Metals in Camden, OH. This new system replaces an obsolete BSK gauge located on a 72” Pro-Eco slitting line and will be used to measure various steel alloys with a thickness range of .010 to .250”. This is Greenpoint’s first AGT400. Two more AGT400s are scheduled to ship to their Franklin, OH plant in early October.
A.G.T. has shipped a new AGT400 to Steel Technologies in Pesqueria, Mexico. This gauge will be used to measure various steel alloys, including stainless steel, with a thickness range of .015 to .250” on a new 72” Braner Multi-Blanking line. This shipment marks the 32nd AGT400 thickness gauge now installed at various Steel Technologies locations.
Greenpoint Metals, Inc. (Franklin, OH) has placed two new thickness gauge orders with Advanced Gauging Technologies, L.L.C. (Plain City, OH). One order is for two new AGT400 gauges which will replace obsolete x-ray gauges currently located on two 72” slitting lines at their Franklin, OH facility. The second order is also for an AGT400 which will be used to upgrade a BSK thickness gauge located on a 72” slitting line at their Camden, OH plant. All three gauges will be used to measure various steel alloys with a thickness range of .014 to .250”. Delivery for the Camden plant gauge is scheduled for late August and delivery for the two Franklin plant gauges is scheduled for early October.
