Two additional AGT400 thickness gauges have been shipped to Mill Steel. Both gauges are upgrades to obsolete Weston and ESC brand thickness gauges and will be installed on slitting lines in Grand Rapids to measure various steel alloys.
Mill Steel Orders Two AGT400s
Mill Steel – Grand Rapids, Michigan placed an order for two AGT400 isotope thickness gauge upgrades. These upgrades will replace Weston 5310 gauges built in the eighties. Both gauges will be installed on slitting lines and measure various steel alloys.
Steel Technologies Adds 31st A.G.T. Gauge
Steel Technologies – Mishawaka, Indiana has added an AGT400 to their operations. The gauge was installed on a slitting line and will measure steel with a thickness up to .200”. This will be Steel Technologies 31st A.G.T. thickness gauge & S.P.C. reporting system.
Heidtman Upgrades Another Gauge
Heidtman Steel Products in Butler, Indiana has purchased another AGT400. This upgrade of a GR200 will be installed on a temper mill and will measure steel with a thickness up to .250”. This will be Heidtman’s eighth AGT400 thickness gauge & S.P.C. reporting system.
Atlas Adds AGT400
Atlas Steel Products has successfully added and installed an AGT400 to its operations. This is an upgrade of a 1992 GR200 thickness gauge located on their 60” Chicago slitter.
