McWane Ductile in Coshocton, Ohio has ordered a new AGT800 Pipe and Pole system. This is the second system they have ordered in the last two years. McWane Ductile Produces cast iron pipe and pole up to 18 feet long. This is a unique application that uses two opposing C-frames to oscillate in and out of opposite sides of the pipe being inspected. Our system will be installed after a pipe and pole cast line and used to accurately measure wall thickness. A.G.T. understands no two customers are the same, and because of that we have put a focus on being able to provide custom solutions for applications such as this.
Jackson, Michigan Company Places an Order for a New AGT1000
Advanced Gauging Technologies has received a purchase order for a new AGT1000 from a Jackson, Michigan company. This system will be installed on a vinyl extrusion line to measure material thickness, material width and embossing depth. This gauge closely monitors the material produced to ensure each sections meets the customer’s strict tolerance requirements.
A.G.T. Ships AGT400 Upgrade to JMS Russel Metals in Blytheville, AR
Advanced Gauging Technologies has shipped a new AGT400 to replace an obsolete GR200 thickness gauge at JMS Russel Metals in Blytheville, Arkansas. This gauge will be installed on a 64″ Stamco Slitter and measure material up to .250″ thick. At this Blytheville location,they process various steel alloys. With this AGT400 isotope thickness gauge upgrade, JMS will be receiving the most reliable, accurate and consistent thickness measurements available.
A.G.T. Ships New AGT800 to National Galvanizing in Monroe, MI
Advanced Gauging Technologies has shipped a new AGT800 laser thickness gauge to National Galvanizing in Monroe, Michigan. This gauge will be installed on a 72″ Pro-Eco pickle line to measure galvanized and various steel alloys up to .500″ thick. This is the second gauge purchase National Galvanizing has made this year and startup is scheduled for June. A.G.T. looks forward to supplying and supporting the equipment that will allow National Galvanizing’s strict thickness tolerances to be monitored.
Shipping a New AGT800 to Olympic Steel in Detroit, MI
Advanced Gauging Technologies shipped a new AGT800 laser thickness gauge to Olympic Steel in Detroit, Michigan. The new AGT800 has a custom-built C-frame specifically designed for use on a 72″ Niagra Slitter. This gauge will be used to measure aluminum with a thickness range of .015″ to .130″. Our AGT800 will provide Olympic Steel the ability to continually meet the strict thickness tolerances required by their customers to produce high-quality slit coils. Additionally, this plant has an AGT400 located on a 72″ Pro-Eco slitter.
