Advanced Gauging Technologies has just completed the startup of another new AGT400 upgrade at Samuel Doral Steel in Toledo, Ohio to replace an outdated GR100 Isotope gauge. This gauge is now installed on an 80″ Paxson slitter and will measure various steel alloys up to .250″ thick. By replacing their GR100 gauge with an AGT400 upgrade, Samuel Doral will be able to reduce downtime, improve efficiency as well as provide the most accurate and reliable thickness measurement available.
Steel Dynamics Orders Three New AGT400’s!
Advanced Gauging Technologies, L.L.C. has received an order for three new AGT400 Isotope Thickness Gauges from Steel Dynamics in Columbus, MS. These are to be used on their newest plant expansion which is set to begin operation in early 2020. These gauges will be used on a 72″ galvanizing line to measure various steel alloys from 0.010″ to 0.150″. A.G.T. has specialized in providing solutions for service centers all over the world and is now expanding those services as well. A.G.T. Ships AGT800 O-Frame for Vinyl Siding Extrusion!
Advanced Gauging Technologies has just shipped a brand new AGT800 O-frame to a company in Jackson, Michigan. This system will be used on a vinyl siding extrusion line to measure material thickness, material width and embossing depth. This gauge closely monitors the vinyl siding produced to ensure each section is meeting the strict tolerances set for this material. This new AGT800 will be replacing an outdated gauge to not only provide far more accurate and consistent readings, but will also help to improve the efficiency of the line.

This gauge was installed on a 60″ Braner slitting line and will measure various steel alloys up to .250″ thick. By replacing their old gauge, Steel Technologies will be able to reduce downtime, improve efficiency and provide the most accurate and reliable thickness measurement available.
A.G.T. Ships New AGT800 to Steel Tech in Ghent, KY!
Advanced Gauging Technologies has just shipped a new AGT800 Laser Thickness Gauge to Steel Technologies in Ghent, Kentucky. This system will be used on a 72″ Braner slitting line to measure aluminum and various other steel alloys form .025″ to .250″. Steel Technologies currently operates more than 30 of our AGT400 Gauges nationwide and this will be their second AGT800 gauge purchase.
