Diagnostic Data Features
The AGT400 Diagnostic Data Page has been featured a few times in this newsletter through the years, so most people are probably already familiar with this aspect (one that is way ahead of the curve in the gauging world). In our last issue of the Gauging Times, we pointed out all of the changes made in the most recent software update, with one of the most notable being on the Diagnostic Data Page.
The most important change was that of the Print Screen button changing to the Print Data button. The Print Data button will print all of the important data from your AGT400, which, when emailed or faxed to us, will allow us to provide better customer service via the free telephone troubleshooting that we offer. Those who have taken advantage of this one of a kind service in the past will really appreciate this new feature.
Obviously there are too many things to cover in regards to the Diagnostic Data screen in one issue, but two of the most important to know about are the ISOcheck™ button and the DC Voltages section.
The ISOcheck™ button allows for the quick verification of your gauge’s calibration. This check takes about one minute to complete, and if run routinely, will keep your gauge in top form. In the DC Voltages section, you can, at a glance, verify that all of your voltages (-HV, +13V, +5V, -15V, and +15V) are correct. This is much easier than having to pull out a volt meter and manually checking these voltages.
Our purpose with the Diagnostic Data page is to make maintaining your AGT400 thickness gauge as easy and affordable as possible. We hope this is one more step in helping us to achieve that.
CE Rating
With the increased interest in our AGT400 thickness gauge in the European market, we decided that we were going to be proactive in obtaining the proper requirements in order to export our gauges. We have now completed the process required for the AGT400 to be CE rated and we may now sell our gauges to anyone with that requirement. If you have always wanted an AGT400, but were not on the North American continent, please let us know and we’ll get a quote out to you right away. In fact, feel free to use the Request A Quote feature on our website at www.AdvGauging.com.
Extended Payment Terms
Many people view our AGT400 thickness gauge as a competitive advantage during these lean times, but find it harder to afford gauge upgrades and/or gauge purchases. For those customers seriously considering a new gauge, but are worried about how to pay for one, we now offer special, extended payment terms. This offer applies to those who we have been doing business with for a reasonable amount of time. If this is something that would interest you, please give us a call and find out if you qualify!
Scott Cook at the WSOP
As some of you may know, Scott has taken up the game of poker over the last few years, and he thinks he’s gotten pretty good at it. So much so that this year, he decided to go out to Las Vegas and test his skill in Event #13 at the annual World Series of Poker. Well, to all of our surprise, he did quite well, placing 32nd out of 1,397 players, winning $14,138! Don’t worry, Scott will still be working at Advanced Gauging because he took his winnings and bought into the Main Event where he gave most of it back. Better luck next year, Scott!
Poker has become Scott’s latest passion, so if you enjoy poker strategy discussions, check out his new poker forum at www.BadBeatsPoker.net/forum.
