Advanced Gauging Technologies has just shipped a new AGT800 to Heidtman Steel in Granite City, Illinois. The gauge is getting installed on a 72″ Pickle Line and will be used to measure various types of steel alloys ranging from 0.040″ to 0.500″.
We are excited to grow our relationship with Heidtman Steel as this is their third A.G.T. Thickness Gauge at this facility and their ninth gauge in all of their facilities. Every new gauge they add to one of the locations helps to continuously improve their quality standards and is an asset as tolerances become more stringent.
