Recently, Advanced Gauging employees completed our annual radiation safety training class to keep on top of the latest standards and safety regulations for the industry.
Partnering with Keyence
Advanced Gauging Technologies manufactures laser thickness gauging systems exclusively using Keyence laser sensors. After a year of in-house sensor testing from several companies produced in different countries, Keyence proved to have an exceptional level of customer service and support in addition to the highest quality and most reliable sensors available.
Standardizing on Keyence sensors as the backbone of the AGT600 and AGT800 systems not only provided A.G.T. with the best sensing technology available but also offered a unique opportunity for A.G.T. and Keyence to work together as partners. Keyence representatives from across North America have referred their customers with more challenging applications to A.G.T. to leverage our measurement expertise and reporting capabilities.

Letter from Our Owner & President
In 1997, my father, Ron Cook, and I founded Advanced Gauging Technologies with the intent of manufacturing the best designed equipment to accurately and affordably measure the thickness of coil steel, along with providing exceptional customer service.
Today, after achieving our goal, we are known as the premiere supplier of thickness measurement equipment for the North American steel service center industry. All of our products are backed by a highly motivated team of associates who are dedicated to delivering outstanding technical support. For nearly twenty years we have provided companies with best-in-class systems and are committed to focusing on the needs of our customers through the development and technology of new products, such as our patented AGT800 laser thickness gauge.
If you would like to learn how we can help your company save money, reduce scrap, improve process/quality control and increase productivity, then let’s set up some time to discuss how our gauges will benefit your bottom line. When you have the opportunity, I would like to personally welcome you to visit our headquarters in central Ohio where you can meet our staff and see our gauges in operation.
Wishing you a successful and profitable 2017,
Scott Cook, Owner & President
